So much to say, so little time

Hi there!

Feelin snoozy with a neck pillow from Etude House lol

I felt for a blog update, but a personal one. My life has been pretty eventful. I joined a singing contest, hauled a lot of makeup and also hung out a lot. I have so many things to write on this little space of mine, but just not enough time.

I work a full-time job, which hours are 9am-5pm. Not very long hours, but its really draining. Even after work, I am too drained to do anything besides having a quick dinner, shower and heading to bed. On weekends, I try not to do work but I actually do. Its weird. I'm always afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to do something within working hours so I take them home on weekends to briefly do it. I just can't stop thinking (or should I say, worrying) about work. Maybe its because this is my first job and I didn't want to disappoint the very kind boss for giving me a chance. My job is actually being a secretary in an insurance company. Boy I didn't see that coming from myself - me working in the insurance industry? I had A LOT to learn; the plans, the softwares, the procedures, technical jargons etc. Guess what? Today is the official third month since I started this job. I can't explain how much I love or not love this job, but all I can say is that I learnt so many things that I never expected myself to. Its hard starting something afresh - since I studied Media in my polytechnic years. This three months was admittedly hard, as mentioned, it was to kinda start something afresh and also with no prior knowledge. My insurance plans were bought by my parents and I have no idea at all what those plans are LOL so I am very ignorant about insurance. Thankfully, it was a good environment - nice boss, nice planners, nice colleagues and nice place. I always thought that this is hard because I started out blank, but I'm not sure if it'll get any easier in the future. I also discovered a lot about myself, that I am actually pretty strong-willed and tolerant. I hope I won't give up on this learning journey because I will feel that I succumbed to sloth. Lol.

I've also been attending media events, releases, food tastings and stuff, which I wanted to blog about but I just.. don't have the time/energy/inspiration to. Its one or another. Excuses. I have so much on my blog drafts now, and also two videos that I edit when I'm free. I guess I have to be more consistent with my posts so as to share better content and be more on-trend. >.<

Oh, and the singing contest. I joined a few Kpop singing contests this year, and this time, its a Chinese one. I used to listen to a lot of Taiwanese pop singers - A-mei, A-lin, Jolin, Cyndi, S.H.E, just to list a few. Now, I can't really remember how some songs go or such, so I had a hard time picking songs. Still, I'm glad I made it past audition and moving on to the first elimination round. The contest is gonna be on tv, but because I'm very nervous about being on tv, I'm not gonna disclose much unless you're my friend >.< Less hopeful, less expectation, less sad. Yep.

I apologise for the irrelevant photos

I miss writing beauty reviews!!!!! Time check: 1:05am SG. Sleepy time.
Thanks for still coming by my little space. Seeya!

[SAMPLE REVIEW] Skinfood Salmon Eye Cream

Hi! I got this a sachet of Skinfood's Salmon Eye Cream with some Korean cosmetics, and only recently I felt like trying it :P

I know right! Salmon?! On your skin?! Well, that's Skinfood for you. Salmon is not as bad as.. CREAMY CHEESE MASK! Well, I like cheese in my food but not on my face. *squirms*

It does not smell one bit like salmon. Smells a lot like jasmine flowers, A LOT!!! An overly strong smell of jasmine, which is weird since salmon is used instead. *50 points deducted*

It's a white cream, which I feel is oily and fatty, and only a little is required. This sachet lasted me for 5 times, for both eyes! Not the best texture for an eye brightening cream. I believe this is gonna be bad for people with oily or problematic skin and may not be able to withstand the richness of this eye cream.

Stays really oily for at least 10 minutes, felt like the absorption was reeeaaalllyyy slow. Besides, I've used it for 5 times and there are no significant changes. No brighteni…

Buy & Sell Hello Kitty plushies!!

Hahaha okay so I received over 10 emails on whether I have an extra Macdonald's Hello Kitty to let go or not. Fact is that I didn't buy any >.< So I decided to create a blog post where you Kitty collectors can interact and hopefully get a reply from a potential buyer/seller. Simply comment on this post! :)

Begin your comment with WTB (want to buy) or WTS (want to sell) for easier reference!

[HAUL] Holika Holika!

The first branch of Holika Holika opened its doors in Singapore @ Wisma Atria today! Supposedly at 12, but when I reached there, they were still drilling and hanging stuff, and said to be back in 30 mins.

A huge poster of its ambassador at the side of its shop, CN Blue!!!!!!! Mysterious Magic Cosmetics~ (and endorsed by guys and a cat.. Hmm mysterious enough)

Before it was open! Yet to pull down its blinds~ It's a shop tucked at the corner, beside an escalator. Near Cotton On!
Couldn't get a nice picture of its sign! But you can see a bit of its interior, which is a lavender colour and has nice shelves! It goes with a mystical or magical theme :)

My mini haul from the store! VERY DE EX PLS The highly raved about egg soap @ $20.00 for 2 eggs Make-up Starter primer @ $2.50 per piece Wonder Drawing Eyeliner Auto Stick @ $10.00 Enamel Magicara Long and Curling FREE hehehe

Its a small tube since its free! But its pretty good! There's fibre in it and the brush is kinda special…
