Etude House Men: Moment St.

I know, I'm really random. But here's a post on Etude's products for guys called Moment St.! It consists of 3 hair gels/wax and 2 bb creams. Not exactly a review post, but just to let you know how the products are like since I'm curious about them myself, especially the bb creams.

1. Matte Mohican hair clay
Matte and hard clay type. For short and medium length hair.
Holding power: 5/5

2. Natural Two Cut
Creamy gel to create natural volume on medium length hair.
Holding power: 3/5

3. Shiny Dandy
Wet and glossy finish for short to medium length hair.
Holding power: 5/5

The hair wax/gels comes in a cute hat shape hahahhahaha which imo is so unmanly >.<

4. Good Guy BB Cream SPF35
Moisturizing BB cream with sheer and natural coverage, and a slightly dewy finish.

Texture is similar to Precious Mineral BB cream.

5. Bad Guy BB Cream SPF35
Full coverage BB cream which controls oil and keep face shine free, aka matte.

Lil review on the BB creams! I tried the Bad Guy BB on my face because the colour is so light >.< Which guy has such a light skin tone? But anyway, I like the fact that it controls oil well (for like about 5 hours during work, then it required a touch up with powder) and yes its matte! It said full coverage but you have to apply a few times to get it - one layer gives good but not full coverage. The texture is really similar to Sun BB, which also offers a matte finish. Guys with darker skin tone that are considering this BB cream can try out Sun BB in the darkest colour, W15. That said, I would buy Sun BB over Bad Guy.

Good Guy feels like Precious Mineral BB. Quite gel-ly and sheer. It is slightly darker than Bad Guy but its still on the lighter side, when compared to skin colours of most of my guy friends >.< hmm, if I had to compare, it would be most alike with Precious Mineral BB W15.

The BB creams are formulated just for men skin types, and comes with a big pump which in my opinion is hard to control and pumps too much out each time. And of course, the colours are too limited and light for guys. Maybe one day, one fine day, cosmetics for guys would be as extensive as cosmetics for girls so more guys can find their perfect concealer or foundation. Don't laugh! You have no idea how much ego boost a concealer offers >.<

Hahahaha see ya in my next post and hope you find something for your bf/brother >.<

    1. Hi there!

I think you should head to a store to try it out and observe throughout the day! Bad Guy is lighter but BB creams generally oxidise in awhile and the colour gets a tad darker. Good Guy has mediocre coverage :/ if you have no skin troubles, Good Guy would be for you! You could also try out SUN BB instead, if you wish to have a colour closer to yours and has a matte finish :)

      Hope it helps! :)

[SAMPLE REVIEW] Skinfood Salmon Eye Cream

Hi! I got this a sachet of Skinfood's Salmon Eye Cream with some Korean cosmetics, and only recently I felt like trying it :P

I know right! Salmon?! On your skin?! Well, that's Skinfood for you. Salmon is not as bad as.. CREAMY CHEESE MASK! Well, I like cheese in my food but not on my face. *squirms*

It does not smell one bit like salmon. Smells a lot like jasmine flowers, A LOT!!! An overly strong smell of jasmine, which is weird since salmon is used instead. *50 points deducted*

It's a white cream, which I feel is oily and fatty, and only a little is required. This sachet lasted me for 5 times, for both eyes! Not the best texture for an eye brightening cream. I believe this is gonna be bad for people with oily or problematic skin and may not be able to withstand the richness of this eye cream.

Stays really oily for at least 10 minutes, felt like the absorption was reeeaaalllyyy slow. Besides, I've used it for 5 times and there are no significant changes. No brighteni…

[HAUL] Holika Holika!

The first branch of Holika Holika opened its doors in Singapore @ Wisma Atria today! Supposedly at 12, but when I reached there, they were still drilling and hanging stuff, and said to be back in 30 mins.

A huge poster of its ambassador at the side of its shop, CN Blue!!!!!!! Mysterious Magic Cosmetics~ (and endorsed by guys and a cat.. Hmm mysterious enough)

Before it was open! Yet to pull down its blinds~ It's a shop tucked at the corner, beside an escalator. Near Cotton On!
Couldn't get a nice picture of its sign! But you can see a bit of its interior, which is a lavender colour and has nice shelves! It goes with a mystical or magical theme :)

My mini haul from the store! VERY DE EX PLS The highly raved about egg soap @ $20.00 for 2 eggs Make-up Starter primer @ $2.50 per piece Wonder Drawing Eyeliner Auto Stick @ $10.00 Enamel Magicara Long and Curling FREE hehehe

Its a small tube since its free! But its pretty good! There's fibre in it and the brush is kinda special…

Buy & Sell Hello Kitty plushies!!

Hahaha okay so I received over 10 emails on whether I have an extra Macdonald's Hello Kitty to let go or not. Fact is that I didn't buy any >.< So I decided to create a blog post where you Kitty collectors can interact and hopefully get a reply from a potential buyer/seller. Simply comment on this post! :)
