Etude House eyeshadow in Vanilla
I don't use this as an eyeshadow cos I don't really use eyeshadows that are so bright, or even eyeshadow at all. Its a light beige colour with some shimmer in it, and I think its the perfect highlighter! I use it on my nose bridge and under eye area. Not much of a vast difference, but just.. yeah. :P The shimmer isn't overwhelming so I think it's a good choice for being a highlighter that matches nearer to your skin tone than those kind white shimmer powder. Best thing - it's cheap! It's below $10 at Etude House, so its definitely a very good highlighter to get if you're on a budget :)
Canmake Shading Powder in 02
Jamie got this for me at $10! (thanks :D) As it suggests, its a shading powder! Its completely matte so it isn't a bronzer cos it doesn't give a "sunkissed glow" hahaha. I use it on the sides of my face and a liiiiiitle bit on the sides of my nose. I think its awesome, cos it matches my skin tone and isn't too dark or obvious. I think it retails below $20 during discounts and probably a little more than $20 at Watsons normally.
Canmake Perfect Brown Eyes eyeshadow in 01
As the name says, Perfect Brown Eyes! I use it super seldom, only sometimes I use the bottom left glittery cream as a base alone, the top left gold one alone, the top right brown one at the ends of my eyes, and the black one as a wing for my eyeliner. I don't use it often cos it's kinda too heavy to have so much stuff on the eyes. It's a very good palette though. The colours used together gives a very nice look, just a lil too bold for day to day makeup. Its kinda pricey though, leaning on the slightly above $25 range. Watsons too!
Innisfree Herb No Sebum Powder Originated Mint
Totally love this. I already posted a more detailed review about this! It's in my makeup bag cos the weather is really humid nowadays, so it's a great way to keep your face shine and oil free :) Would be better if there's SPF though. Got this online! PM me if you want to get it too :)
(top to bottom)
Etude House Drawing Eyebrow in 03 (some kinda brown)
I use this as an eyeliner more often than a brow pencil cos its a lovely shade of brown and it looks less harsh than black eyeliner. Most brown eyeliners in the market are still very dark browns, if not they are too red. This is the perfect shade of brown I'm looking for as a natural eyeliner. *tip! Lining the top waterline (white rims of the eyes) can make your eyes look bigger and more defined, and slightly above it, draw ON the area that your eyelashes are to make you look like you have a lot of lashes :P I'm planning to get a proper brown eyeliner though! It costs below $10 :)
Sasatinnie waterproof eyeliner
Awesome eyeliner!Very waterproof and cheap too! I think its $6.90 at SASA, and it runs out pretty fast. Its a very nice dark black and lasting. Smudges a lil though.
KATE white eyeliner pencil
Got this at Watsons at around $11.90. I alternate between this and Etude House's one, but I try to use this more often cos it's more expensive :P I think the white and glitter isn't too overwhelming, just enough to line the bottom waterline and inner corners of the eyes :)
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
This is some realllllly lasting eyeliner! It has a nickname which is the "1-day tattoo liner" and claims to last a day without smudging or wearing off. Yeah, it does. But its really difficult to fully remove! Using a water based remover will not remove this cleanly cos its waterproof. Using an oil based one leaves some blue-ish stain. SO? HOW TO REMOVE CLEANLY? I don't know... Haha. I use it on top of my eyeliner so it isn't that difficult to remove. Usually I only use it when I wing out the ends of my eyeliner or when I wanna darken the eyeliner. I don't use it below my eyelashes cos I have a phobia of liquid liners, that it'll get into your eyes and get into your bloodstream or something and cause something to happen to you. Just playing safe... So I use auto pencil liners (the twist up kinds) a lot cos they're softer than the pencil kinds that you have to sharpen manually. Safer too! :P I think this costs around $19.90 or $24.90 in Watsons, can't remember :P
Canmake Powder Cheek blusher in PW05 (Pink Orange)
A cute pink colour with a hint of orange! A pretty peachy colour, and too suitable for me. Has pretty gold shimmers in it, gives just the right amount of sheen to not look oily. Holy grail material for me! I think it's below $15 in Watsons.
Revlon's Colorburst Lipstick in 070 Soft Nude
It's a pretty beigey pink and a very suitable nude lipstick! In SG, it's kinda weird to have totally gyaru kinda nude lips, but this isn't that exaggerating at all! It's not that overly light but a very nice tone of beige that doesn't make one look sickly at all. Light but creamy texture and has good coverage. My most used lipstick :) I think I got it at $17.90 in Watsons.
Cotton buds or Q-tips!!! HAHAHA
It's totally a must incase anything smudges on your face. Its not too bad. The casing is actually an eyelash box from Daiso :P Let's re-use! hehe
Actually I do bring a little makeup remover too, but didn't picture it. Its a small bottle of Cleansing Express Sebum Cleansing Lotion at around $4.90 from Watsons. Really small bottle, handy on the go! It's water based and it says you don't have to wash your face after using that. How do you wash your face when you're outside..? So I guess this is the perfect choice! :)
I think you should be able to tell that I love Watsons a lot.
Incase you're wondering, is there so little stuff in my makeup bag? Actually, the stuff here are the staple stuff that I use. I change my lipstick sometimes, I change my blusher sometimes, I change my powder sometimes or add in stuff like a small tube of BB cream. I don't use foundation cos I don't like the feel of it, and I use BB cream sometimes. I don't use mascara though I have a few and think Dejavu's Fiberwig is good. hehe. I've stopped using concealer cos I think its not very necessary cos just dab a little bit more BB cream on the spot will do. I broke the nozzle of my small Etude House BB cream in the pouch, so I can't carry it in my pouch anymore :/ Bought my first retail-sized BB cream recently! I never liked buying retail-sized stuff cos I don't think I'll finish it, and if it isn't good, I can change it without feeling too much of a pinch. However this time it's a 35ml one, and I have confidence in it! Shall blog about it soon :)
Thanks for reading! :)
